Wild Pastel – Filmic Nature LUT

The Wild Pastel LUT transforms your digital images into a timeless film-inspired look. Designed to soften harsh contrasts and bring subtle warmth, it converts clean digital shots into atmospheric visuals with a vintage, slightly desaturated pastel vibe. Perfect for nature, outdoor, and lifestyle photography, this LUT emphasizes calm tones and a nostalgic cinematic mood.

The look gently mutes greens, adds warmth to shadows, and tints highlights with a soft brownish glow while keeping sky blues and floral purples elegantly restrained. The result is a filmic rendering that feels organic, dreamy, and emotionally engaging.

The LUT was extracted by reverse-engineering scans of old Lomo photographs. Because of their reduced color spectra, applying those limited color ranges to today's photos would almost always result in some amount of posterization. For some people, that's a no-go, for other, it's a desired, sought-after effect.

This is why the pack includes two versions:

• SOFT – a lighter touch, perfect for adding atmosphere without overpowering detail.
• HARD – a stronger transformation, embracing posterization and bold shifts for an authentic, raw film and print vibe.
